  Upon joining the company my brief was to oversee the opening of a brand new store and to establish notonly the brand but the concept of self storage into the area by raising the profile of the company in the localarea by pro-actively promoting the brand. Once enquiries started to come in I ensured that the team werecoached with a full understanding of the product and company offering which in turn lead to the team beinghighly motivated and earned me their buy in to achieve our targets. By tightly controlling costs and drivingsales we over achieved all of our sales and profit targets.Having been with the company for five years and ensuring continued growth in my store I was transferred toan under performing store that had historically ran at a loss. Within the first financial year of me being therewe achieved profit for the first time. This was achieved by transferring the same approach I had adopted inthe new store.To ensure the delivery of store targets and objectives which include maintaining store occupancy levels,storage sales and ancillary sales. Achieving high levels of customer service by building and maintaining agood rapport with all customers old and new..Ensuring the store is presented to the highest standard and that these standards aremaintained. This has been achieved by implementing daily, weekly and monthly cleaningrota's.Maintaining at all times a clear focus on exceeding the customer’sexpectations and increasing sales through a proactive attitude tomarketing the store.
