About Dave Painter

Project Manager within the marine field with experience in leading teams for naval ship In Service Support. Currently leading a team remediating incomplete product support for engineering changes for 6 ships of the Royal Australian Navy's Hydrographic fleet of ships. Previous to this I lead a team of engineers in the provision of engineering changes for the the Navy's Paluma Class vessels. This work involved delivering an annual program of work to modernise the vessels to ensure the operational capability until 2025. During my time as lead of the team we successfully delivered all the required changes in in line with the schedule. The work involved taking the customers requirements, developing these through the design process to implementation, test and trial and final acceptance. I have over 40 years experience in the marine field working both in private industry and defence.
