My primary responsibility within GLD is to develop the Sales capacity from the ground up, we are effectively a start up. My role within the company is to identify where we are leaking sales, where we can improve our sales capability and to coach existing staff to improve how they perform. My role within Huthwaite as consultant trainer makes me primarily responsible for the delivery of our various products to delegates all around the world. I have been involved in the delivery of training within multi million pound implementations in several countries that all have to be delivered to the highest standard and degree of continuity. I have mostly been involved in the delivery of the SPIN® selling courses and the 4 day negotiation skills course, Spin selling being one of the worlds most proven, effective selling models. Both of these courses are centred around a behavioural model based on 30 years of Huthwaite research into which behaviours make people more successful. I am a skilled behavioural analyst through 21 categories of behaviour, this enables me to give very accurate feedback to the delegates in relation to how they can change their verbal behaviour to become more successful. My delegates range from business managers from the hospitality sector to Senior procurement managers within the oil and gas industry. I am also involved in initial consultations and troubleshooting as methods of identifying what the business needs actually are and if Huthwaite can service these needs.

The outline of this project was to move an existing customer service centre from Milton Keynes to Leeds. My job was to work closely with a team in mk to learn a job first hand, be it the language used in the customer contact to the IT systems used within the interaction. I would then build a 2/3 week training and induction course based on the role then train it to a team of new recruits in the new Leeds contact centre. Once they were "live" in the new centre I would repeat the process and return to Milton Keynes to lean a new role. I worked across 3 of the VW brands with front line service people, back office factory order staff to the elite customer service team in the "luxury car service team"
