Development of strategies for Communications across Jubilee, Northern & Piccadilly Line Stations.Control of Station Communication annual budget Creation of contractual condition benchmark forecasting models.Control of individual station’s communication budgets, with the dual aim of: Continuous improvement of all communication assets, being achieved within budgetary limits.Management of contractors to drive year on year performance improvements, (This allowed Tube Lines to meet and surpass its company Asset System target for the first time since Transfer)Management and creation of “Station Communication Whole Life Costing” model and assisting in interactive intervention modelling with associated CAPEX. Development of business case for the use of Central SCADA system, to be used for monitoring Communications assets, enabling analysis of both commercial and performance criteria, highlighting potential cost saving initiatives within review period 2.Cooperating with different asset areas within Tube Lines to identify the best options for the Stations’ Asset areas, improve asset performance also ensuring all contractual positions are considered and that all risks have been quantified.Working collaboratively with communications contractor to develop a new planned maintenance regime, moving from traditional planned maintenance to intelligent planned maintenance.Working with station communications contractor to maintain and develop their Tube Lines ‘Beacon Status’ for HSQE.Bringing new technologies and ideas to the attention of the client and showing where and how the technology can give benefit to them from an engineering and commercial aspect.
