• Worked on ‘Culvert Rehabilitation Project’ funded by Manitoba Infrastructure (MI), Province of Manitoba, where full scale rehabilitated soil-steel bridge specimens (SPCSP metal culverts), were tested under simulated CL-625 ONT truckload with soil cover to failure. •Prepared preliminary and detailed design of SPCSP culverts as per CHBDC S6, AASTHO LRFD bridge design, MIT design standards and CSPI handbook. Culvert specimens repaired using innovative trenchless lining technology. •Designed ‘Culvert Testing Facility (CTF)’ on wheels as per CSA S16, AISC 360 and CSA W59 to facilitate testing of full-scale rehabilitated culvert specimens with soil cover in lab environment including preparation of functional detailed design, technical specifications, drafting detailed fabrication (shop) drawings and reports.•Analyzed the rehabilitated culvert in finite element modeling software i.e. CANDE, Geo-studio sigma /w and ABAQUS. •Effectively coordinated with trenchless lining contractors (Multicrete System Inc., AP/M Permaform), suppliers (Armtec & Canada Culvert), fabricators (Falcon Manufacturing), technology supplier (SIMTReC) and research partners (MI) at various stages of the project.

Reinforce concepts taught by the instructor to students during class and office hours. Assist undergraduate students in solving assignments and tutorials. Pursued one month “Summer Immersion Program cum training” at University of Saskatchewan(U oS), Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada from 29 May –29 June 2013. This training includes technical civil engineering site visit, lecture, laboratories, seminars on different areas of civil and environmental engineering as well as hands on experience on some of the practical design oriented and civil engineering structures site execution program.

A Project on the “Application of Remote Sensing and 3-D Geographical Information System (GIS) for the water infrastructure design and gravity flow pipeline alignment, right from source to destination “ carried out at Bhasakaracharya Insititute of Space Application and Geomatics (BISAG),Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar under the guidance of Dr. M.H. Kalubarme, Project Director, BISAG .

Pursued two months internship in Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Gandhinagar, on “Liquefaction Potential Analysis”, Earthquake Engineering, under the mentorship of Prof. Ajanta Sachan, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department, IIT Gandhinagar.
