This position was created to work through engineering issues with suppliers and customers. On-site trouble shooting, as well as, travel to supplier sites was required. Writing Work Instructions and Field Service Bulletins at various technical levels was required to enhance repeatability.

Responsible for the daily manufacture of equipment. This included managing the flow of product to meet customer’s demands. Also, instituted Lean Manufacturing Principles and restructured product flow and floor layout. Hired and trained employees from a 6 person shop to 22 person shop in two years.

Responsible for the revision level control of engineering documentation between Operational Groups and the customer. Created the initial procedures/processes to manage the orderly changes of documentation. This included managing the Vendor Engineering Change Request (VECR) process with the customer.
