With a bachelor's degree in business and a highly-developed social conscience, I've parlayed my love for music, my preference for music recorded on vinyl LP records, my enjoyment of woodworking, my creativity, and my engineering acumen to invent a patentable product which will maximally preserve the physical integrity of vinyl LP records in real-world storage and display conditions.After I've finished the four-month process of building a prototype in early November, 2023, I'll solicit competitive bids from large-scale furniture manufacturers and distributors serving North America for licensure to add my invention to their product lines. My conservative assumption is that record collectors will be willing to pay at least $1 per $20-album to preserve their record collectors indefinitely, and accommodate their expanding collections with 50-album wooden cabinet modules which can be user installed. My anticipated licensing fee will cost licensees 22 cents/album, leaving 78 cents to cover licensees production and distribution expenses plus a healthy profit. Moreover, licensees sales will be driven by my worldwide marketing initiatives, as will as bring consumers who will buy other furniture from among their product lines.All the above factors suggest the winning bid for the first year of North American licensure will exceed $1 million, renewable in each subsequent year.I'll introduce my invention to record manufacturers, associated equipment manufacturers and the worldwide audio press at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) from January 9 through 12, 2024 in Las Vegas.My research has identified seven worldwide regions where record collectors abound in sufficient quantity to generate a mean (avg.) of at least $1 million in annual licensing fees for a total of $8 million or more in worldwide annual licensing fees.Much of my personal time is devoted to my enduring passion to educate consumers on the use of critical-thinking skills as the best defense against all forms of fraud, and empowering consumers to make informed and ethical choices.
