Often as a consultant my job is to walk into a business, figure out the function behind how it runs, understand all the important variables, then construct a business analysis and database system that works the same way the business does. This requires database architect skills. I have excellent concepts for making good relational data systems and handling complicated projects. Recently I've worked most of a year at a start-up that required data for a combined savings and a scientific inside sales data system, all starting from a high level executive descriptions with no existing plans. The projects required IT Business Analyst and Data Architect skills. I have years of experience of conceiving business projects, writing up a plan to build them, getting the work done, and testing them for bugs and ease of use requirements. My love of science is currently filled by writing on the complicated world of nutrition on NOF.org and other public sites. I like the challenge of research and systems analysis in discussion and writing. One of my favorite topics is Vitamin K2 research, the MK4 form of vitamin K2 is largely unrecognized in orthodox medicine but the body uses it to control calcium scavenging and bone building in the body. Other than this, I do wonderful Salsa and Latin dancing, sit on the Boards of two dance organizations in Pittsburgh and blog on nutrition and health issues at NOF.COM. I find a surprisingly large number of people with advanced degrees who are going Salsa dancing, more then in most businesses! I remain fairly modest in spite of some awesome life experiences like running over a dozen Marathons.
Listed skills include Turnkey Projects, Database Design, Salsa Dancing, Pgh Marathon 2012, and 6 others.
