Process was the only operation of its kind in the world which converted continuous D108 and Triangular Dacron tow (filament) into the proper staple length synthetic fiber for blending with natural wool fibers in the manufacturing of the highest quality Wool/Dacron fabric yarn. This product was an exclusive for Hart Schaffner & Marx; Hickey Freeman & Botany 500 mensware. Transferred to the Top Preparation area in 1969 managing 165 French Combing machines, 22 Pin Drafting machines 22 Servo Drafting machines and 22 Auto-leveler machines for manufacturing of Wool Dacron Top for use in pin drafting & roving operations for the manufacture of high quality yarns for the textile industry. Also developed the first yarn packaging system at Burlington for winding yarn on special cone packages used for the Knitting industry.
