Developed an efficient outreach strategy that includes email, phone, event, and drop-in prospecting. Collaborated with team members on an 18-month business plan for state-wide textbook adoption. Worked with the Customer Success team to design a plan to engage current partners to determine level of product satisfaction, areas of improvement, and potential for product expansion.

Directly manage 76 teachers and staff and responsible for the day to day operations of a building that includes over 900 students. Manage and oversee a $4.2M operating budget, including curricular, staffing, and physical resource needs.

I orchestrate the actions of 47 teachers and staff, countless volunteers, and daily instructional and facility operations to deliver quality educational outcomes for our 425 students each year. To accomplish this, I oversee a $3.4M operating budget, as well as fiscal and physical resources cultivated from 900 parents, the community, and local businesses. I also serve as a resource and guide to faculty and staff, especially during times of scheduling fluidity and uncertainty. Serving as the “face” of the school to the community at large, I work to sustain a culture of excellence institution-wide. For example, in collaboration with local businesses and Sinclair Community College, we established a Pre-Apprenticeship Operating Plan to identify student-candidates for apprenticeship agreements. In the past year, we have successfully migrated our school to – and from – virtual learning platform, supplemented by alternative curricular offerings. This journey was possible due to a comprehensive pandemic-through-reopening plan we devised that included ongoing communication with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and successful outcome, including virtual graduation.

At Edgewood, I spearheaded the formation of comprehensive curriculum maps that deconstructed standards and gave each teacher multiple learning targets, detailed teaching plans, assessments, and best practices. I collaborated with our teaching teams on a systematic approach to quantitatively analyzing the use of class and building data, resulting in an optimization of schedules and facility use. I emphasized our sense of a shared vision and mission among our 875 students each year and 81 teachers and staff. We also integrated grade levels into house system that promoted positive relationships, whole-school inclusion, multi-tiered support system, and service learning projects. Further, I instituted a Principal’s Council to open dialogue and transparency among the student body, parents, teachers, and local community, with survey results that showed increased satisfaction among the stakeholders. I was named to the district-level committee that composed a rolling five-year strategic plan.
