I currently work as a Subject Matter Expert for Production Control within our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX). The core responsibilities include a daily review of all new required machined details as released by our Planning/Processing department to determine which items should be routed through our machine shop and what should be ordered complete from outside sources, reviewing that correct material has been selected and production route correctly reflects physical actions in the shop as well as updating items as required, identify and review prints that might be made more efficiently with the Machine Shop Manager, identify fabrications that can be made internally and creating production orders to produce them, work with our Saw department to order raw materials as needed, create production orders or request purchase orders for lost or damaged materials, provide technical support and address training concerns for the Production Control module of the ERP environment, support site installation teams by expediting details through the machine shop to support installation schedules, tracking and reporting KPI's for Manufacturing department to report to GM of Manufacturing and COO, work with Supply Chain department and Project teams to address issues as well as providing support to others within the Manufacturing department to ensure it's smooth operations.

Created a new department within the company specializing in Materials management. Beginning at the Ryan Road facility, we received all incoming materials and staged them in a manner that allows the Manufacturing department to most efficiently produce tools. We were also responsible for inventory management, processing revisions to tools, maintaining a Standards warehouse, housing VMI (vendor managed inventory) product and dispositioning materials as required. We assisted in locating or replacing lost or missing materials for Manufacturing as well. During my tenure, we launched two iterations of Microsoft Dynamics AX. The department's responsibility was to verify and pick received materials to recognize revenue for Accounts Payable. I personally was required to implement a process and create supporting training documents as well as hold training sessions with other members of the company. I worked very closely with Planning and Purchasing departments to troubleshoot issues within the Production Control module of Dynamics AX. Later, the department expanded to have representatives at all Paslin facilities. Eventually the Consignment Crib employees became part of the team and I was responsible for leading a group of 10-15 people at 4 facilities. Other responsibilities that came with the role were approving time cards for hours worked and conducting performance reviews.

Created PPAP documentation and other critical documents for an injection molding company. I maintained the Metrology lab and equipment. I also verified and collected production samples for review of critical dimensions and fit/function checks. The team I supervised was made up of 3-4 inspectors.
