As the Environmental Health & Safety Administrator at SBCCD, I Oversee, manage, coordinate, and administers a comprehensive environmental and occupational health, safety, and loss control management program.Previously I worked as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician at Crafton Hills College. With many years of experience with Chemical and industrial Hygiene, I have the pleasure of severing as Chairperson to our Campus Safety committee as well as serving as Chairperson to the District Wide Safety Committee.Graduate from the University of California Riverside 2014; with a Bachelors of science degree in Biology. I began my college carrer at San Bernardino Valley College where I obtained my Associate of science degree in Biochemistry. I am a U.S. Navy veteran. I served in the military from 2003-2009 when I was honorably discharged at the end of my contract. During my service I was a Hospital Corpsmen (medic). I deployed twice with 1st Marine Division to Iraq. While with the infantry I served in a variety of rolls as my knowledge and experience increased. I began as a platoon Corpsmen; responsible for the treatment of 30 Marines. Later I was responsible for all 50 Corpsmen in my Battalion as their Assistant Lead Petty Officer and over saw the treatment of their respective Marines. I was later stationed at Naval Hospital Naples Italy. After a brief stent with hospital administration I worked in the Emergency Room for nearly two years. While there I took charge of a failing supply system to update and streamline the logistical process for emergency room medical supplies and equipment. Managed emergency room night shift and trained hospital staff on medical procedures and equipment operation. As I completed more complex certifications I became the ER training Officer and later a certified trainer for the entire Hospital in many necessary certifications.
