My journey from air traffic control to financial advisory has always been about guiding others safely and confidently. I discovered my passion for finance early on, earning a Bachelor of Commerce Management from the University of Western Australia with an International Business Scholarship.During university, I served as an award winning academic tutor, growing my passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring others. This experience laid the groundwork for my career, where I continue to guide clients toward financial stability.As a Major (NS) in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, I developed skills in critical thinking, planning, and leadership. These experiences now shape my meticulous approach to financial consulting, ensuring my clients’ portfolios are in good hands.In 2019, I joined finexis advisory Pte Ltd, quickly rising to the top and earning the ELITE Platinum award. My dedication led to my roles as Associate Director at Finexis Advisory and Deputy Investment Strategist at Global Investment Advisors. I craft personalized financial portfolios for SAF Senior Officers, Regulars, and Civil Servants, and manage investments for High-Net-Worth Individuals and C-Suite Executives.Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my leadership and problem-solving abilities, earning the Court of Table Membership from 2020 to 2023. In 2024, I was honoured to speak on finance contents at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Recently, at MINDEF Auditorium, Tengah Air Base, and Career transition Resource Centre.Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about community service. For over a decade, I have volunteered at old folks' homes and organizations supporting the needy. I believe money’s true value is realized when used to help others. This commitment was recognized at the City of Good Summit by Tony Soh, CEO of the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), in 2024.I am also a member of the BLW Community, a network of C-suite executives and High Net Worth Individuals from Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore, dedicated to making a positive societal impact. This aligns with my personal philosophy, inspired by my parents' example of volunteering.In my free time, I find balance in snowboarding and playing competitive Chinese Chess, pursuits that keep me grounded.My mission is to provide clients with peace of mind and financial resilience, guiding them toward financial independence, the realization of their dreams, and assisting Civil Servants and SAF Regulars for their career transitions.
