Purchasing, Procurement, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management.

• As part of my training my current role with the company is warehouse associate for the parts department and relief transfer truck driver. My current duties include the following.• Accurately pulling customer orders.• Receiving and checking in freight.• Shipping material vis UPS and/or commercial trucking companies.• Operating forklift.• Running the delivery route to other company warehouses when the regular driver is out. The truck is a 28' Ford F-650.

• Managed warehouse staff, and inventory for one of the largest Convergint Technologies offices in the world. • Oversaw inbound/outbound shipments, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.• Responsible for accurately purchasing and procuring security, fire alarm and life safety material for Operations and Service Departments to meet deadlines & budgets.• Responsibilities included cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit. • Maintained strict inventory/receiving logs by conducting physical counts and reconciling data with the data storage system to ensure accurate inventory counts at all times.• Facilitated return authorization requests to distributors/vendors so that any unused or warranty items were returned for credit. • Lead by example. Was hands-on in all warehouse and fulfillment capacities, container unloading, pick and pack fulfillment, inventory management, customer service, coaching, etc.• Complied with all OSHA regulations related to direct responsibilities. Championed a positive, safe and orderly work environment.• Safeguarded warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols,• Pulled parts for Service & Operations departments. Staged material for technicians & installers to pick up for their respective workday.• Assisted with fleet management including maintenance, registration, safety inspections and GPS tracking system.• Ensured productivity targets were achieved and all warehouse processes were running smoothly and promptly. • Supported the management team. Adhered to compliance with company’s policies and vision.• Assisted with building maintenance which included A/C, Light Bulbs, communicating with the cleaning crew etc.• I seldom miss work! Only one PTO day taken as an unscheduled sick day in seven years.
