Responsible for the management of the East Texas and Beaumont branches which extends from Matagorda Bay northward to Lake Charles. The District consists primarily of Chemical, Petrochemical, Utility and Maritime vertical security market clients who need to meet the ever expanding security requirements for CFATS, MTSA, TSA, and OSHA. Other vertical markets include: Education, Commercial Real Estate, Government Services, and Industrial. Responsible for the delivery of service to clients which include staffing and training to client specifications, recruiting, and human resources support. Assesses and assures quality programs, initiatives and the identification of new opportunities so as to improve service and client value. Responsible for over 1400 employees at 75+ contracted sites.

In command of a 110 member armed security force with responsibility for installation compound security and anti-terrorism measures. Responsible for $2.8 million labor and non-labor budget, $3 million worth of equipment, human resources actions and the moral, welfare and training of all personnel. Managed projects of various size as well as security and readiness drill for the installation community. Chair of the Anti-terrorism Working Group and Physical Security Review and Loss Prevention Committees. Member of the Executive Threat Working Group. Area of responsibility included 12,000 acres, main base, 16 outlying fields spread across two states. Coordinated security and law enforcement activities with 10 federal, state, and local agencies.

Directly responsible for the security posture of 20+ ships and 9000+ Sailors and Marines as well as numerous civilian cargo, tanker and merchant ships operating in the NAVCENT area of operations. Approves security plans of 20 subordinate Force Protection Officers involving in-port and underway security, ashore events, multi-national training exercises, and transits of regional areas of restricted navigation and chokepoints. Provided subject matter expertise for Task Force 156 (anti-piracy task force) and coordinated with various U.S. Embassy security and diplomatic personnel as well as that of various host nations. Briefed one and three star Commanders daily. Member of Emergency Management Working Group and Anti-terrorism Working Group. Member of the crisis action team monitoring/planning the security posture and response to regional civil unrest. Mentored and trained subordinate Force Protection Officers in planning processes and intelligence evaluation.

In command of 75 member rapid response force deployed throughout the world. Responsible for $1.4 million worth of physical security equipment, weapons, ammunition and classified communications equipment and intelligence. Managed projects of various size including San Francisco Fleet Week, Seattle Sea fair, and other simultaneous global missions, and large scale training requirements. Provided embarked security for coalition merchant ships transiting straits and restricted waterways in the Mediteranian Sea, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Arabian Gulf, Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Malacca Straits, Strait of Hormuz, Suez Canal, and Panama Canal. As command Force Protection Officer, primary advisor to the Commander regarding the safety/security of 400 member command, and physical security of $10.3 million worth of equipment. Ensured success of multiple global missions through well planned and uninterrupted supply and transfer lines reaching from various locations to detachment locations in Kuwait, Haiti, Spain and throughout Europe. Coordinated with federal, state, and local authorities in the U.S., Europe, Caribbean, and Middle-East.

In command of a 130 member armed security force with responsibility for installation compound security and anti-terrorism measures. Responsible for $1.1 million security guard contract, $300.000 non-labor budget, over $1 million worth of equipment, and $500,000 in security improvements. Managed planned projects and emergencies of various size and complexity. Chair of the Anti-terrorism Working Group and Physical Security Review and Loss Prevention Committees. Member of Long Range Planning Team and Coastal Bend Intelligence Sharing Group. Area of responsibility included 6,000 acres, 90 aircraft, main base, 1 outlying field spread across two states.

In command of 108 member guard force with responsibility for physical security of two hospitals and mental health facility using personnel as well as intrusion detection systems, alarms, and closed circuit television. Maintained the safety and well being of 75 detainees ensuring humane treatment at all times while maintaining security.

Directly supervised a 120 member armed security force with responsibility for full time security of a nuclear powered aircraft carrier, 50 assigned tactical aircraft, and 6000+ personnel. Responsible for the employment and deployment of various security equipment including weapons, non-lethal weapons, baggage scanners, metal detectors, explosive vapor sniffers, intrusion detection systems, closed circuit television systems and communications devices. Managed various projects of various size and complexity. Managed security for port visits to three ports in the Middle-East during heightened threat conditions and managed extensive Customs Clearance plan upon return to U.S. ensuring all Customs laws were complied with, all paperwork from 6K+ personnel was completed without error and all 10K+ spaces on the ship were inspected.

Directly supervised a 73 member armed security force with responsibility for installation security and anti-terrorism measures. Responsible for conducting investigations, for the command and coordinating and working with Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Managed planned projects and emergencies of various size and complexity. Member of the Anti-terrorism Working Group, Physical Security Review and Loss Prevention Committees.

Supervised 22 personnel providing physical security and law enforcement services on the base and throughout the area through proactive patrol as well as response to calls for service, both routine and emergency. Investigated referred reports and initiated investigation at misdemeanor and felony levels. Coordinated with federal, state, and local authorities. Provided personal protective service to visiting dignitaries.

Supervised 22 personnel providing physical security and law enforcement services on the base and throughout the area through proactive patrol as well as response to calls for service, both routine and emergency.

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of over 300 small arms and crew served weapons as well as accountability documents for weapons and ammunition. Responsible for the tracking and accurate accountability of over $800 million worth of cargo ammunition destined for further transfer to other units, both afloat and ashore.
