Responsible for growth of Stantec’s US North wet weather business by focusing on key growth clients and markets, developing and attracting top talent, building strong synergies across business lines, and partnering with forward-thinking communities to deliver innovative and resilient One Water solutions.

Manage the delivery of multiple public sector water and wastewater infrastructure projects:• Ensure the successful financial and technical delivery of projects assigned;• Manage diverse multi-disciplinary teams, including team members located locally and remotely;• Manage project sub-consultants and subcontracts;• Ensure a high level of quality and client service delivery;• Report status and forecasts to Clients and Project Management & Commercial Leader;• Contribute to overall business strategy and backlog development.

Responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating business development and growth objectives in New England as well as supervise technical and administrative staff with a focus on career development and retention. Involved with clients in project delivery of public sector water and wastewater infrastructure projects as project manager or in a project technical capacity.

David Van Hoven was an Engineering Manager specializing in water and wastewater engineering including planning, studies, design and construction. His experience covers a wide range of water and wastewater projects including pumping station designs and rehabilitations, water treatment facilities, disinfection, storage tanks, wastewater treatment facilities, BNR upgrades, biosolids and energy, and site analyses. Mr. VanHoven also served as the chair of B&V Water’s committee on wastewater filtration.
