Coaching duties include developing and overseeing practices and trainings; set up and oversight of local swim meets; organization of the local YMCA swim leagues and training of local YMCA coaches; and relationship development and management with all swimmers and their families. Other duties within the Aquatics Department at the Harris YMCA include: The development and running of a youth swim team camp and a junior lifeguard camp each summer. I am a certified YMCA Lifeguard Instructor and an ASHI CPR/FIrst Aid instructor involved in the training of lifeguards and safety certifications of YMCA employees locally. Ad hoc responsibilities included leading 401(k) plan enrollment meetings for large groups and individuals and preparation of enrollment packets.
