• Designed second generation HPDM-250 single stage planetary gearbox with increased system reliability, manufacturability, and performance.• Led the development of the gearbox system with extensive testing of system thermals, power efficiency, housing vibration and resonance, lubrication effectiveness, and accelerated lifecycle testing.• Accelerated structures development by testing vibration resonance windows in motor operation envelope, identifying both resonant frequency of components and mode shape with strategic accelerometer placement.
