I currently hold an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certificate and the ITIL (information Technology Infrastructure Library) V3 Foundation Certification. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of IT (MBCS), and also a member of the IET (Institute of Engineering & Technology). ●Proven Management Skills in a professional environment - Roles have allowed me to undertake specific training in managing, learning and implementing different fields such as people management, financial management and security management.●Proven success in defining, communicating and executing strategy - I have successfully taken on board these challenges and have delivered good policy and forward planning in an existing network. This includes, operating policies for not just ICT but CCTV and other operational functions, including acceptable use protocols. I have also devised expansion and upgrade plans for network and infrastructure architecture and operation and am continuing to do so in my current role. In previous roles. Experience of writing and responding to tender documentation. Involved in new building projects on site incorporating ICT and other operational activities.●Proven experience in leading a technical team and delivering to deadlines - An essential skill which I have developed through all my previous roles. This of course goes alongside the management of a technical team which I am doing in my current role. This ties in with my management abilities and also the need to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.●Proven experience in assessing and balancing service and development priorities - I have had a lot of recent experience of this due to the nature of planning network and infrastructure upgrades. I have been able to use these skills and linked to other abilities such as auditing needs and capabilities to make sure that planning for the future is obtainable through financial management, people management and design.
