This includes software support, data loading and workflow assistance for the full suite of Paradigm applications. I have also recently worked with the subsurface team on building their depth calibrated velocity model using my skills in depth conversion. I formulated a company wide policy for moving all data from Paradigm to Petrel.Regional Support for Velocity Modelling and Depth Conversion: Woking, UK (2006-2010)I moved back Paradigm's uk office in Woking in 2006, where I primarily supported Explorer and Geodepth along with occasional support for the interpretation suite of software. I completed velocity modelling consultancy projects for Nexen and ExxonMobil, along with providing product training for several other companies.STATOIL in Stavanger, Norway (2004-2006)I was based in Statoil’s headquarters in Stavanger, Norway for the first 2 years with Paradigm. I was primarily involved in supporting Paradigm’s Time to Depth conversion software, Explorer. Duties included fixing software problems, teaching Explorer courses and occasional consultancy work, for all of Statoil’s offices in Norway (Stavanger, Bergen, Harstad) and the Statoil London office. Subsurface geological and geophysical description for the North Sea, Algeria, the Gulf of Mexico and Egypt. Working for a small company (4 employees), gave me good first-hand experience of the day to day running of such a company. Often working independently I advanced my organisational skills immeasurably.
