Introduction: I’ve lived and breathed photography since I was old enough to hold a camera. Eleven years as a staff photographer on regional press desks, followed by 20+ years as a freelance photographer has given me the skills and the know-how to create powerful, story-telling pictures that help businesses and organisations reach out to their key audiences. Professional: Often hear people would rather visit the dentist than have their photo taken, so I take care putting people at their ease. My client gets the best possible shots, full of creative flair and imagination even when I’m often working quickly and under pressure. Equipment: Constantly adding to my collection of camera, studio and technology kit, this means I can deal with many situations under pressure, including if the media needs your pictures within minutes I can process pictures live if required. Location:Although I am based near Middlesbrough on Teesside I cover the whole of North East England, including Yorkshire, Tees Valley, County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, also other regions easily. Kibbutz VolunteerKibbutz Urim, Israel Jan 1989 - Jun 1989Urim, South District, IsraelI spent six months as a Kibbutz volunteer worker, doing manual work ranging from feeding livestock, working in the kitchens and operating machinery through to picking fruit and laying water irrigation pipes.In summer 1989 I borrowed a bicycle and made the impulsive decision to pedal home to the UK, travelling over 3,000+ miles from the Negev desert in Israel, Turkey and then across Europe, using my trusty Olympus OM1n camera to document the long journey. This was the trip of a lifetime. I made some good friends, got to know other cultures, learned how to put people at their ease and document daily life.
