Manager, Elan Drug Delivery Project Office (PO)In this position I was responsible for managing the operations of the PO for Elan Drug Delivery. This includes developing data collection standards and processes, data analysis and presentations, defining and implementing department policy and procedures, budgeting and managing department resources including hardware, software, and human resources. The position directly interfaces with local project and programme managers, leaders and line management to insure accurate and timely collection of project plans and data. It also interfaces with other business and project support functions such as Finance, HR, etc to establish the required databases for cross-project resource availability, competency models, budget and tracking mechanisms.

Manager of the programme management process; development and implementation of best practice systems for selection, initiation and management of research projects. Key interface for EBR to joint venture projects. These projects are multiple site and international in nature. Establishment of well defined plans with clear rationale, objectives and defined criteria for success. Formation of project budgets based on the aforementioned plans. Management of a quarterly review system for the portfolio. Preparation of progress reports for projects in the portfolio on a monthly basis. Key interface with Finance Dept. with respect to approval and scheduling of payments to partners/third parties. Key interface with Corporate with respect to the Strategic Plan.
