I am a seasoned executive with an extensive background in managing operations, developing business, and building brands. This has included leading organizations and developing and executing a multitude of successful programs and strategies ranging from: marketing communications, sales/business development, strategic partnerships, public relations, events and promotions; and driving results and revenue within a number of industries, and as a member of corporate (Fortune 500), nonprofit community-based, and entrepreneurial organizations. I have a proven track record of transitioning quickly to new industries and roles, and strengths in stewarding and generating product and brand awareness, and revenue growth utilizing marketing and sales best practices while building strong, strategic and personable relationships. And, I have consistently been recognized as team player through a demonstrated ability to empower, nurture and lead high-performing teams at all levels. As a resident of Colorado for most of my life, the value to “give back” was instilled in me at a young age, and as such, I have volunteered substantial time, effort and leadership to a number of great organizations and various causes through the years in helping to build capacity and community. Outside of volunteering and employment, and my competitive swimming career (helping pay for college and exposing me to competition on the most elite stage), I enjoy outdoor sports and access to the clean mountain air, whether it has been alpine or tele-mark skiing, cycling, hiking, an occasional hut or backpacking trip, running, snow shoeing, or golfing. I’ve even taught skiing part-time for a few seasons and sold skis and fitted ski boots at the base of Vail Mountain for a season. Over the years, I have made conscious career choices in order to live in the wonderful and colorful state of Colorado, and pursue these interests. That said, the pandemic has made the World seem geographically smaller than ever before, and technology capabilities have proven the effectiveness of engaging and working remotely, and the ability to do business and cultivate relationships no matter where you live.
