Andrea Everett Email and Phone Number
Growing up with dyslexia has instilled in me a deep desire to support children who face similar challenges. I have dedicated my career to working with non-profit organizations that help children. I believe that non-profits have the power to bring about positive change within a community, and I am incredibly passionate about being a part of that change.I believe that non-profit organizations can make a big difference in the lives of young people, especially those facing challenges like learning disabilities, poverty, or trauma. That's why I've worked at Boys & Girls Clubs for almost ten years. Currently, I serve as the Director of People, Culture, and Safety, but I've held various positions within the organization, including Clubhouse Director, Director of Community Outreach, and certified Boys & Girls Clubs of America Trainer.Every child deserves to feel safe and supported, regardless of what they may be going through. In my current role as the Director of People, Culture, and Safety, I have the opportunity to train and hire staff who share my passion. I believe that investing in the right people is crucial to delivering on the mission of any non-profit organization. Our dedicated and skilled team is the backbone of our efforts to support the youth in our community, and I take pride in ensuring their value and contribution. In addition to my passion for helping children, I have always been interested in safety. Throughout my career, I have been involved in many safety committees to ensure physical and emotional safety. Creating a safe and supportive environment is crucial for children and staff to thrive and reach their full potential. Before joining Boys & Girls Clubs, I worked with children with developmental disabilities at Black Hills Special Services and as a coach for the South Dakota Special Olympics. I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and attended college in Chadron, Nebraska. I have always enjoyed spending time outdoors, and being active and engaged in nature can be a great way to build confidence and resilience.
