I am an experienced mechanical engineer with a degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical). I have 10+ years of experience in project and production management. I am a high-energy and customer-focused production manager with a lead-by-example and flexible work style. I am known for a calm but tenacious management approach while getting projects finished on time, on budget and consistently meeting customers’ needs. I am committed to a healthy lifestyle and deeply dedicated to the team as a supportive manager with effective soft skills. I have trademark success for getting others on board to achieve a goal. I serve as the go-to person to ensure things get done and customers are not left with wondering about the delivery of their product. I have an excellent ability to accurately estimate workflows, budgets and work plans. I am adept at improving efficiency (while saving money) with excellent technical abilities. I have expertise with every aspect of the manufacturing process having worked for large and small-sized companies – all with global markets. I am known for bringing clarity and organization to the team to enable them to succeed. Some of the customers I have served include the US Military and the US Federal Aviation Authority, major US, Canadian and Russian cities and airports and seaports. My decision in pursuing engineering as a profession, had a lot to do with my enjoyed ability around physics and math. Over the years in my career however, I’ve realized I also derive a lot of enjoyment from organizing projects and working with people. I take pride in motivating others to work efficiently within a positive, well-organized environment. As a leader, it is important to me to have my team heard and to have them contributing to our collective efforts in working hard and working well. Outside of my career, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids. I also consider myself to be an active outdoor enthusiast. I love to sail, run, ski, bike, kayak, windsurf, and I always look forward to playing various sports with my daughters as they train for their competitions. This coexists well with my career as I find it relaxing, as well as motivational. I want to get stuff done. Making progress in any part of my life motivates me.
