In charge of revenue generation for 3 station radio group in Central Ontario. We employed over 40 people in Cobourg and Peterborough Ontario. Was responsible for our 13-person sales department. We sold our company in September 2015 to MY Broadcasting.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Sold local radio advertising space in Toronto and surrounding areas. Pleased to be the very first Account Executive hired for what was to become in January 1993, the all-new CISS 92.5 FM, Toronto's first-ever Country FM radio station. My first duty was to establish a retail account list for the 8 new Account Exectuvies that would join the company between November 1992 and January 1993.

This was stint # 2 at Golden West. I left Golden West in 1982 to work with CJCL in Toronto. Was very fortunate to return to Golden West in the capacity of General Manager/General Sales Manager in February 1987 where I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the station until July 1992 at which time I left the company.

Radio Advertising Sales Account Executive in Toronto. Had a great 5 year run in selling radio advertising on CJCL 1430 "The Music of Your Life". We were also the voice of the Toronto Blue Jays with Tom Cheek and Jerry Howarth and the Toronto Maple Leafs with the play-by-play voice of Joe Bowan. Had a great deal of success at CJCL and worked with some of the city's radio superstars. This station later became The Fan 590

Started at CHOO 1390 AM as News Reader/Host. Then in 1981 moved into the Sales Department as an Account Manager. Once I got a taste of sales and developed the confidence needed to be successful, I never looked back. Fortunately, I learned that I excelled at meeting people and LOVED selling RADIO.

Powell River, British Columbia, Canada

First full-time position in Radio. Worked with a small staff of 7 or 8 individuals. Did all aspects of on-air for one year, almost to the date. At the end of February 1978 left CHQB 1280AM and returned to Ontario. This was such an incredible experience for me. To this day, I still keep in touch on a regular basis with 5 or 6 of the fantastic individuals that I worked with at CHQB, a Sunshine Coast Broadcasting Company.

I was a board operator and worked mostly on weekends at CKLB & CKQS Radio in Oshawa while attending Durham College in Oshawa.

Sarnia, Ontario Canada

I worked for Alex Robertson in the CKJD Sport Department writing and editing sports stories for his radio sports reports. The job ended abruptly when Alex secured a TV Sports job in Victoria British Columbia.
