Business Applications Analyst
This role has evolved from support of the business critical and semi-critical systems to include all aspects of the systems development life cycle including requirement gathering, analysis, testing, documentation and deployment. I specialise in providing support and analysis for all functions of Interactive Digital Sales (IDS) including Airtime Sales, Management and Trafficking where the core systems include the Oasis sales system, CARIA Approvals and Copy Rotation Instructions (CRI). This role has not only involved being both proactive and reactive, but, most importantly, it has enabled me to show my enthusiasm, desire and a commitment to learn about the dynamic and ever changing broadcast and sales industries. This was highlighted in the CRI project where I was heavily involved in the analysis phase, and managed the system and user acceptance testing and implementation.Key responsibilities of this role:- Investigate and diagnose issues relating to business critical systems.- Provide alternative temporary solutions where required and possible.- Log, update and resolve all incidents accurately and within SLA.- Analysis of system and process enhancements.- Plan and execute testing (System and User Acceptance) of bug fixes and system enhancements.- Deployment of system upgrades in accordance with department and audit procedures.- Produce and review documentation including support, user and testing.
