Native to Rochester NY, Justice is a co-founder of DDW and has remained dedicated to the organization as a full-time volunteer since its inception in 2006, and full-time staff member since 2014. He served as the International Programs Director, newsletter co-editor, and was an active member of DDW’s Fund Development, Event Planning, Strategic Planning and Board Selection Committees. He also served as Treasurer to the Board of Directors for DDW's startup year. Justice has networked with over 300 Deaf schools and associations in fifty countries on behalf of DDW and is the co-director of DDW’s documentary, Discovering: Shuktara. He has served as the Program Coordinator for capacity building programs in partnership with the Philippine Federation of the Deaf under grants funded by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).Justice first learned American Sign Language in 2000, and quickly became involved with the Deaf community working as a counselor for the Aspen Camp School for the Deaf, on language development research for the Colorado Home Intervention Program, and as an ASL/English interpreter. Justice also established a supportive employment service center for the Southwest Washington Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SWCDHH) and worked as a job developer with Deaf and Hard of Hearing consumers for D&T Services. He earned a B.A. in Sociology from Ithaca College with concentrations in Clinical Sociology and the Criminal and Juvenile Justice System, and hold an A.A.S. in ASL/English Interpreter Preparation from Front Range Community College.Justice believes the power of education is an essential tool to eliminating ignorance and strives to be an intermediary of cultural understanding between Deaf and Hearing worlds. When not on the go with DDW, he enjoys running marathons, hiking, and photography.

Designed and implemented a start-up Job Club Program utilizing input from DVR, Work Source centers, and the Washington School for the Deaf. Educated community organizations and empowered clients on issues of communication access, videophone services, and Deaf culture. Maintained a caseload of 30 Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, assisting with job preparation and job search skills. Coordinated client appointments, job interviews, and interpreting services.

Worked collaboratively with nine staff interpreters through various teaming strategies, skills analysis and mentoring. Served as Treasurer and Student-to-Professional Advisor for the CRID Mentoring Committee. Interpreted an array of assignments conducive to the post-secondary environment.Note: Interpreted three years in total (2004-2006) at University of Colorado, Front Range Community College, Portland Community College, Aspen Camp School for the Deaf, and various freelance assignments.

Managed groups of 20-30 deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing adolescents. Coordinated and led campers on white water rafting trips, ski/snowboard races, and multiple camp activities.
