Started a new position with The Home Depot on 02/13/23 as a Corporate ORC Investigator.Below information was for my prior law enforcement career.I have been assigned as a lead investigator to a variety of cases over the years which have resulted in arrests from high dollar financial crimes to first-degree murder. The successful prosecution of these crimes involved my ability to confidently interact with the victims, witnesses, states attorneys, judges, juries, and offenders. I have supervised both the Investigations Unit and Street Patrol as the Officer In Charge since 2003. My ability to document and write detailed reports has also been part of my success in this field.I have been trained by my department in the ALERRT method when responding to active shooter situations, such as workplace or school shootings. In 2019 I was assigned as an Investigator to assist with the investigation into the Henry Prate Co. shootings in Aurora, IL. I have been able to compile a vast network over the years. This has allowed me to build relationships with the private sector, local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. I have also been tasked with working closely with our Human Resources Department to conduct extensive background investigations for potential employees for the City of St Charles.
