•In my role as the Treasurer, I am responsible for the financial supervision of SHPE. •The Treasurer is the chief financial management officer whose tasks include the preparation of annual budgets, planning for the organisation's financial future and monitoring the organisations revenue and expenditure.

I am one of the Teaching Assistants for Engineering Sciences 56: Introduction to Biomedical Engineering. In this role, my job is to assist the Professor with grading, hold Teaching Assistant Office Hours to review course material to students, and more. This class will survey applications of engineering principles to medical diagnosis/treatment of disease, monitoring/measurement of physiological function, and rehabilitation/replacement of body dysfunction. Case studies will be used to highlight how engineering has advanced medical practice and understanding. Examples will be drawn from bioinstrumentation, bioelectricity, biotransport, biomaterials, and biomechanics. While investigations will focus primarily on the engineering aspects of related topics, issues surrounding patient safety, public policy and regulation, animal experimentation, etc. will be discussed as appropriate

The SUMR program is an endeavor by the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI) and the Health Care Management Department of the Wharton School to provide underrepresented minority undergraduate students, or anyone who is interested in an opportunity to explore the exciting field of health services research.In this internship, I did the following:•Learn how to use STATA for the analysis of health and labor economics. •Analyze how supplier induced demands affect treatment recommendation by healthcare providers.•Research how flow variables such as population growth, net immigration, and retirement affect the labor force.•Analyze the economies of scale and scope in manufacturer physician relationships. •Analyze how manufacturers defray the fixed costs of travel, space, and setup. •Utilize my knowledge of C and Matlab for the analysis of various data. •Work with Penn faculty mentors on one or two health services research projects .

The Bank of America Ignite with Tech Program is a one day enrichment experience focused on developing technical and leadership skills. This targeted program offers Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino, freshman and sophomore students the unique insight into how you can use a computer science and computer engineering degree to make an impact on a global scale. This program allows its participants to meet with senior leaders and industry experts, learn about the unique culture and history of Bank of America, attend skills workshops and participate in business case studies, and hear from recruiters about the recruiting process works at the bank.

I along with a select few of my peers were chosen to conduct environmental research at the State University of New York at Old Westbury. Here, we used samples of "Caenorhabditis Elegans", commonly referred to as "C. Elegans" for our experiments. Under the supervision of professors and undergraduate students, we introduced several outside factors such as an increase in Phosphate levels to observe and record how these organisms reacted. Through our understanding of these organisms, we would be able to infer how these same changes in the environment might affect other organisms as well.

A one week camp at Bucknell University where about ten students from Westbury High School took various engineering classes such as Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Students were also tasked with solving real life problems.
