I then retrained, gaining a degree in Community Justice, and was employed by Greater Manchester Probation Trust. Based at a Magistrates’ Court, I was the main interface between the court agencies, sentencers and GMPT. I also prosecuted breaches when offenders fail to attend their community orders as instructed and coached other staff in that area. In June 2010 I commenced an extended secondment with the Learning and Development unit at Greater Manchester Probation which became permanent in June 2011 when 5 Trusts combined their L&D functions to form Laurus Organisation Development Solutions, subsequently leaving to take up a post with Laurus Development and finally adopting a freelance role / portfolio career.Linking my IT background and current employment, I developed an interest in computer forensics and completed an Open University module in Computer Forensics and Investigations, winning the Evidence Talks Top Student Award (December 2008).
