Dave Larson is a Networking and IT Infrastructure technology executive assisting emerging innovation companies with the transition to AI as a Fractional Executive and Board Member. He brings over 30 years’ experience successfully building innovative solutions and businesses for both startup ventures as well as multi-billion dollar public entities. Most recently, Dave was SVP and GM of the Cloud and IP Business and the corporate Chief Technology Officer at Spirent Communications, where he was responsible for the leadership of the High-Speed Ethernet, Application Security and Cloud Test and Measurement business while also leading the company's overall technology vision and strategy. Immediately prior to joining Spirent, Dave was VP of Data Center Networking and Chief Technologist for Networking, Security and Advanced Cloud Architecture at HPE. Prior to HPE, Dave was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Corero Network Security, driving the strategic direction and overall product and services execution for Corero’s DDoS mitigation and visualization business.Previously, Dave was VP and CTO at HP Networking, where he drove product roadmap development, vision, and strategy for HP’s $2.5B networking business, Vice-President of Integrated Product Strategy for TippingPoint and Vice-President of Security Product Line Management for 3Com where he defined global security product strategy across R&D development facilities in the U.S., U.K., and China.Dave has also held senior technology, product and marketing roles with Tizor Systems (acquired by Netezza/IBM), Sandburst Corporation (acquired by Broadcom) and Xedia Corporation (acquired by Lucent).
