David Larson represents employers in a broad array of employment litigation matters and also advises clients on labor and employment matters including employment policies, HR procedures, and best practices for avoiding litigation and developing positive employee relations. David defends employers in class actions and individual-plaintiff cases involving wage and hour, discrimination and retaliation, and whistleblower claims in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings. David has handled cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Wendell H. Ford Aviation Investment and Reform Act for the 21st Century (AIR21), the National Labor Relations Act, the Railway Labor Act, and various state employment laws, including trial experience before federal courts and administrative agencies.Beyond actively litigating cases and advising clients on litigation-related strategy, David counsels clients on day-to-day employment law matters such as wage and hour compliance, hiring and termination, and sexual harassment. He also has conducted investigations of code of conduct violations, workplace discrimination and harassment claims, and whistleblower allegations.
