I am currently working for 2rn's Network Monitoring Centre (NMC) as a broadcast engineer. This involves Monitoring & Control of 2rn’s Distribution Network, Contribution Network, Analogue Radio Transmission Network, DTT Transmission Network allied to liaison with telecommunication’s business customers using 2rn sites Prior to working with 2rn's NMC I worked with 2rn's Projects Department on the migration of DTT services from the 700Mhz band to allow that bands use for mobile broadband wireless services. My role involved project management, project engineering and project co-ordination. Before starting work with 2rn I worked in a consultative capacity with respect to media management and media operations development work for UTV Ireland as that broadcaster went to air in January 2015. I also freelanced in satellite broadcast operations, vision engineering for outside broadcasts, satellite downlinks and master control. Previously I had 16 years experience working with TV3 Ireland. Working in a number of roles including Head of Technical Operations and Studio Operations Manager.
