Business Lines Handled:-- Marine Cargo (Retail & Complex Accounts)- Integrated Transport LiabilityWork Scope:-- Liaise with Loss Adjusters, Recovery Agents, Solicitors and instruct them accordingly on various areas of any claim that may require extra attention.- Review claims submitted and analyse Policy Liability & Coverage.- Negotiate with Assureds and Brokers on various contentious matters.- Spearhead and develop Claims Plan on potential complex claims.- Monitor Recovery efforts and increase recovery rates where possible. If need arises, to look for alternative recovery avenues.

- Perform various site cargo inspections/surveys at Ports, Airline Terminals, Insured’s premises, on-board vessels.- Loading and Discharge Surveys for Insurers & Insureds.- Conduct investigation and loss site inspection as well as performing enquiries for interest of Liability Insurers.- Conduct survey for Project Cargo and assist in claim handling (Such as SMRT (circle line), Resorts World Singapore)- Assist and guide claimants in the claims process, in accordance to the Policy Terms and Conditions.- Review Marine Cargo Policy Terms & Conditions and provide appropriate recommendations as well as highlight potential issues that may arise- Register new loss to Insurers, provide, review and regularly update Insurers on loss reserve.- Verify claim submission with supporting documents before submission to Insurers with recommendations, and if necessary, suggest loss adjustment where available.- Recommend external subject matter experts when necessary and monitor/maintain their service level.- Liaise with appointed legal personnel to ensure claim settlements are in line with principals’ objective and resolution reached amicably and timely.- Highlight recovery potential and ensure rights of recovery for principals are reserved/protected.

- Provide assistance to Safety Officers when required- Performed routine checks and patrols to ensure safety standards/regulations of the shipyard are met- Conducted safety briefing for general workers before start of workday- Spearheaded safety education & awareness campaign for all employees (created safety posters/pamphlets & briefing of MOE requirements)- Review Permit-to-Work systems in place and provide system revision to enhance productivity without compromise on safety.
