Personal Mission Statement: Any Critter ... Any Crisis!Looking to network with anyone, anywhere, anytime to improve humaneness of animal capture, transport and holding facilities: Project Humane Design: I am a generalist with skill sets in large scale wildlife field capture, project implementation, disaster response, and other animal related programs.I am a technically trained economist, journalist... but my practical experiences are all in animal related specialities like Sheltering, Public education, Swift Water Rescue, Fire Response, Animal Search and Rescue, High/Low Angle, Large Animal Extraction, Chemical Immobilization and Immunocontraception.Have been privileged to be on international projects with excellent DVM teams in Morocco, Guyana, Quebec, Haiti, Taiwan, Puerto Rico ( Vieques & Culebra), Russia, Turks and Caicos Islands, Sri Lanka, Philippines and 10 other countries. And have proudly served four years in the US Navy, and as Animal Incident Commander is large national disasters like the 97 Red River Floods and 2005 Hurricane Katrina.Have a passion for animals, good food, children ( especially my two lovely daughters) and wilderness. My spirit animal is the Wolverine... of which I observed my first one in the wild in August of 2007!
