My primary goal in life is to be the best steward of my gifts and graces that God has bestowed on me. I have been fortunate to be able to innovate my entire career, whether it was concept, design, manufacturing, or quality. I have made significant improvements in all these areas and have many patents, trade secrets, and publications. I have enjoyed them all, but my primary interest is in energy conversion, both electrical and mechanical. Within that area of energy conversion I especially enjoy power electronics the best and recently obtained my Masters degree in power electronics. Of particular interest is growing people. I have the greatest satisfaction seeing my teams grow and function on their own. Teaching has also allowed me to be a part of growing people. I also enjoy learning new things, and as a lifetime learner I have attended over 150 courses in my career.
