Dave Rees is a seasoned editor, videographer, and producer with over twenty-five years of experience in the film industry. He has contributed more than 60 hours of network television, including notable projects like Showtime’s “The L Word,” USA Network’s “The Dead Zone,” and Brightlight Pictures’ “Search and Rescue,” where he served as supervising editor.Dave’s journey began with a strong foundation in music, having studied percussion at Grant MacEwan University. He then transitioned to a professional career as a drummer with SNFU, recording five full-length albums and touring globally.Currently, Dave is the Vice President and Head of Film, leading a talented team in producing, editing, and filming hundreds of documentaries and research films. His directorial debut, the documentary “Dads,” was released in 2013 and sold to 16 countries worldwide. Dave is known for his exceptional leadership skills, fostering creativity and collaboration within his team. He continues to spearhead an exceptional team of filmmakers, creating top-tier consumer documentaries for some of the world’s largest brands.
