Until recently, the mobile device life cycle was being cut short due to the accelerated pace of new cell phones and wireless devices entering the market place. An alarming outcome of this rapid product innovation was the growing global issue of e-waste of which cell phones were becoming a significant contributor. At its foundation, HYLA Mobile was created to reverse this alarming trend by extending the life cycle of mobile devices. Realizing the significant residual value left unclaimed in advanced wireless technology, HYLA’s incentivized mobile device trade-in solution was created to change the wireless device ecosystem by responsibly extending the life and optimizing the value of used mobile devices. I lead the customer sales and operations groups that are responsible for HYLA's relationship with a wireless Tier 1 carrier. Responsibility encompasses ownership of overall account strategy, operations and execution.I wanted to share some exciting news. eRecyclingCorps has changed its name to HYLA Mobile! Our new name represents our goal to serve as a universal symbol of environmental consciousness within the wireless ecosystem and to that end dedicate ourselves to creating an industry focused on sustainability, profitability and greater access to technology for all.

Finally, I identify and establish new markets for Vesta’s solutions, including gaming and digital goods merchants/commerce providers.
