I am a retired (June 2018) PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) technology assurance partner with 34 years (all with PwC) experience serving public and private companies operating in the technology, manufacturing and service industries. I began my career with PwC in Greenville, SC in 1984; moved to Atlanta in 1993 where I was admitted to the partnership in 1998. From September 2001 to July 2005 I was on secondment with PwC Amsterdam, Netherlands. I returned to Atlanta in 2005 and transferred to Nashville in December 2009 where I finished my career, retiring in June 2018. While I have experience serving multinational clients in many industries, my primary focus was serving public and private technology companies operating in the software, service and chip industries. My experience also included serving clients undergoing initial public equity and debt offerings, acquisitions and divestitures and other complex transactions. In addition to serving large US and foreign multinationals, my secondment with PwC Netherlands included leading the Dutch firm’s Sarbanes/Oxley PCAOB standards implementation training and developing a US GAAS/GAAP desk to support teams serving clients with US reporting. While in Nashville, I worked with my colleagues to grow the PwC Nashville office from approximately 15 professionals to over 150 when I retired in 2018. I serve on the Board of the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK), a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, serving nearly 20 years as Finance Committee chair. I previously served on the MTSU Accounting Advisory Board, the Tennessee State University Accounting Advisory Board, and the Board of Directors of the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (GCAPP). I currently serve as the Treasurer for the Bayview at Bonita Bay II Condominium Association. I previously served as President of the Whiskey Pointe I (Bonita Bay) Condominium Association. I was awarded the "River Hero" award by the CRK in 2023 for my service to the organization. I currently reside in Florida. I am a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and earned my B.A. with a concentration in Accounting from Furman University - class of 1981.
