Worked as a full time consultant after moving in 2015 and rejoined the company full-time in 2019 after finishing work with Podcoin.After Podcoin, created Marketing and Product strategies as Marketing Manager at The Meet Group with 100 million members and generating $200 million in revenue in 2020. Drove product decisions, sought and gained press coverage, and developed social content by surveying members regularly to discover new opportunities and information that would be useful to grow our products and brand and expand our awareness among potential users. Gathered interesting stats for press pitches and community building using survey. Increased social media metrics and worked closely with design to create social media filters, graphics for events, contests and company blog posts I authored. Authored company blog articles. Conceived Podcoin app concept and brought it to the app store with small team from ITRex. Created a novel concept that paid listeners a small amount of virtual currency, called Podcoin, that listeners would get while listening they could exchange for gift cards and other small gifts. Built roadmaps to reach target markets and improve user satisfaction. Drove core experience, product vision, strategy, and development from concept to launch. - Community Management: Reached out to and signed up 2000+ active podcasters on Podcoin and managed their experience. Over 1500 of those podcasters participated in an ads program I lead where they did pre/mid/post roll for the app- Would reach out to every new Podcaster joining to claim their Podcast with deals in exchange for promotion. Used Figma to give each Podcaster a promotional code and sticker they could post on their media- Product Management: Defined new areas of app to build out and create the features and virtual currency that led to Podcoin having early viral success among podcaster and listeners- Grew Podcoin DAUs from 200 to 10,000 DAU/ 40,000 MAU through constant podcaster outreach and building viral features. Reached 250,000 total users within 4 months.- Used Figma to wireframe and help define and plan user stories for new features during product meetings.

Collaborated with Design and Engineering to develop and enhance features for MeetMe mobile applications. Provided project and product management leadership for new standalone apps designed to complement MeetMe products. Created future marketing and product plans using survey data from. Managed ticket backlog for standalone apps as scrum master. Analyzed competitive, fast-rising apps to stay competitive with market, leveraging tools SensorTower and AppAnnie. Applied Scrum practices to manage 3rd-party developers in Chile in creation of Choosy, Unsaid, and Battles apps.- Conceived and product-managed Choosy, a standalone dating app designed to solve the problem of subpar first messages by providing quality icebreakers. Specified and wire-framed Choosy app from idea to launch. - The success of app in driving new messages led to introduction of the Icebreaker feature into the core MeetMe app.- Conceived the Unsaid app and found early users through creation of a college ambassador program I managed by reaching out to influential groups at multiple schools. I signed up nearly 1000 students and managed their compensation. The app saw reasonable success at some schools but ultimately didn’t align with our other apps/ and core business enough to sustain it. - Product managed an early concept of our Battles feature, these were image-based battle games that existed before we added our more successful video battles after adding livestreaming.

Co-founded myYearbook. Built roadmaps to reach target demographics and attain high levels of user satisfaction. Drove core experience product vision, strategy, and development from concept to launch. Provided community management as the automatic “first friend” to users, through “founder bulletins,” and video communication. Encouraged users to post and behave responsibly and communicated changes for new features. Worked with developers in Mumbai to launch a high school social network while still in high school.- Grew to 1+ million registered members in 12 months via development of a viral mechanic allowing users to share myYearbook quizzes, layouts, and widgets on other popular platforms. - Conceived of virtual currency, Lunch Money, and developed viral content. - Lunch Money evolved into credits, approximately 70% of MM revenue came from credits in 2019.- Largest Source of Teen giving: Users donating lunch money to various causes we worked with helped establish myYearbook as one of the largest sources of teen giving on Internet.- Broke down different charities into units, such as how much clean water, or grains of rice lunch money could buy. Developed concept and found formula for converting Lunch Money to real dollars and Lunch Money into- Played key role in the major rebrand of myYearbook to MeetMe and managed a multi-city skywriting branding campaign. - Saw no drop in usage when over 100 million users merged onto the same platform via phased rollout rebrand of myYearbook and Quepasa to MeetMe.
