About Dave Sutherland

After more than 30 years as an award-winning environmental educator and field naturalist, I retired from Boulder's Open Space department and now serve the people of Boulder, Colorado as a freelance free-of-charge Community Naturalist, offering local community groups free guided nature hikes on many natural history and science topics - more information at my website www.DaveSutherland.CO. I teach native plant gardening / pollinator and habitat gardening using Colorado native plants. I work with groups of all ages, and am fluent in Spanish.
