I act as the facilitator between Business and IT to make systems & processes work beneficially for all. My current role is the CRM Manager for the Global Salesforce CRM implementation worldwide with around 800 users.I started out at school wanting to be a scientist - but now I realise I actually wanted to be Doctor Who! I went to University to study Astronomy so that I could be an astronaut and ended up being a professional musician instead for nearly 10 years (starting at the same time as the likes of Show Of Hands).I worked my way through the IT career ladder to become a Director of WBB, a multi-national mining company headquartered in Newton Abbot. When they moved away I, with a colleague, bought Castles Kitchens in 2004. Unfortunately, despite surviving for 5 years after the financial crisis Castles went into voluntary liquidation in 2013. My job nowadays is working as the interface between sales and IT in one of the world's biggest industrial minerals companies (Sibelco), implementing Salesforce's CRM system across Europe from Portugal to Russia and Egypt to Norway.Nowadays as well as playing music occasionally you can see me at food festivals where Food Is Fun's demonstration kitchens support the westcountry's best chefs and promoting healthy eating to people of all ages.
