I joined BetterUp through the acquisition of my prior company, Practica. At BetterUp I work on our AI coaching products. We braid human and AI coaching in order to help people everywhere pursue their lives with greater clarity, purpose, and passion.

Practica is an AI-powered coaching platform across departments, including engineering, product management, design, sales, and marketing. We provided both AI and human coaching to iconic tech companies like Plaid, Flexport, Vercel, Strava, Gem, Figma, DuckDuckGo, Vanta, Lattice, and Immuta.Practica was acquired in February 2024 by BetterUp.

I joined Thinkful when it was a team of 50 to launch the product management department.* Led product initiatives that contributed to more than 3x revenue growth over 1.5 years, leading into the $100m acquisition of Thinkful by Chegg.* Built a high-performing product management team. Hired two senior product managers across  growth and the learning platform. Launched squad-based product development process. Developed collaborative relationships between design, engineering, and product management.* Led the integration strategy for the platform of an acquired company. 8 months after launch, acquiree’s revenue was fully retained, flowing into a combined platform.* Launched upgraded data / BI processes with an upgraded data warehouse across all departments.

Co-founded Clothes Horse to help shoppers find the right size and fit when shopping online at their favorite brands and retailers.* Raised $1m from investors including Contour Ventures, Primary Ventures, and NYC Seed.* Designed a product with best-in-class engagement, completion (>90%), conversion (6-13% higher sales), and accuracy (10% reduction in returns).* Deployed Clothes Horse to more than 40 retailers and brands, including Ralph Lauren, Anthropologie, Bonobos, Nicole Miller, Steven Alan, AllSaints, Betabrand, GANT, and Frank & Oak.* Participated in 2 startup accelerator programs: DreamIt Ventures and NY Fashion Tech Lab.* Sold the company in late 2014 to Fits.Me, which was acquired by Rakuten a few months later.

Joined OnDeck (formerly On Deck Capital) as the first Product Manager when the company had 20 team members. OnDeck, an online small business lender, has now provided more than $3B in loans to small business owners. The company went public in December, 2014 (NYSE: ONDK) with a market cap of more than $1B, the biggest VC-backed IPO in NYC tech history, per CB Insights.* Managed a product portfolio with 10x revenue growth during my tenure.* Designed and managed many of the core customer experiences and backend systems, including the borrower portal, origination platform, servicing platform, rules engine, and third party data integrations.* Hired, trained, and managed a team of 2 Product Managers. One is a Director of PM and the other went on to be the CEO & founder of a successful startup.

Monitor110 was a financial intelligence startup founded by Jeff Stewart and Roger Ehrenberg in 2004. Our vision was to become Bloomberg for internet data - bringing the signal of these new sources of data (blogs, messages boards, etc) to the attention of hedge funds and other institutional investors. I joined the company out of college and was promoted to a Product Manager in 2007. After raising multiple rounds of VC financing and releasing multiple versions of a product into market, the company ultimately did not succeed and shut down in July 2008. The lessons learned from the rollercoaster ride we experienced could fill a book, and are lessons I continue to draw on to this day.* Product definition and management responsibility for a web application that empowered institutional investors to monetize alternative information sources from the Internet.* Managed offshore data and developer teams in Philippines, Argentina, and China.* Worked with sales team to deliver product demos and helped negotiate initial product sales.
