Primary coordinator for the movement of all UK logistics and personnel within the Kabul area of operations and the provision of a quick reaction force to deal with any incidents within a high threat environment in support of UK policy.Responsible for a vehicle fleet worth in excess of £30 million and implementing and promoting a rigorous equipment care policy to ensure that the vehicle fleet remained fit for task despite the adverse environment.

Management of all logistics, facilities and assets allocated to a Military Headquarters worth in excess of over £50 million enabling it to function within its peacetime location or a deployed operational environment. Unit primary point of contact for the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) of the multi activity contract to the Ministry of Defence. Managing and reviewing over 300 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with the agreement and maximizing the results of the investment. Managing risk to minimise exposure as well as carrying out Business Continuity Planning for all operations within the Unit. Ensuring all legislative requirements were met in regard to Health and Safety and environmental issues.

Colchester, United Kingdom

Management of a mixed vehicle fleet of over 80 prime movers, responsible for maintaining a thorough servicing regime and equipment care policy. Ensuring all road safety legal requirements were carried out correctly in line with current legislation, including the supervision of all Unit driver training to ensure personnel remained competent. Unit project manager responsible for the move of all personnel, equipment and vehicles into a new location.Acting as the focal point for all welfare issues of over 300 personnel whilst they prepared for and deployed on operations in Afghanistan, including providing support for families and coordination of activities in support of the home base. Dealing with injured soldiers and their immediate and extended families during times of extreme pressure and conflict. Fund manager for a large non public fund worth over £250K and managing a retail outlet with an annual turnover of £150k.
