As a Solution Advisor I have been heavily involved with customers of HuonIT, understanding their needs and delivering quality proposals. These proposals have covered from simple Office 365 migrations and small hardware solutions to full blown managed services contracts and full infrastructure replacement projects. My roles at this smaller IT firm has varied from support to design and project work. Being a smaller organization I have been involved in many aspects of all these roles. I am based at Davies Collison and Cave, an IP law firm where I am part of a small team looking after the day to day running of a 400 user environment. Being a smaller organization I have been involved in many aspects of all these roles. I am based at Davies Collison and Cave, an IP law firm where I am part of a small team looking after the day to day running of a 400 user environment. This support covers all parts of the business infrastructure.The main project I have been in charge of in this environment is the migration of the complete printer infrastructure to a new print provider. I was able to provide this new solution with minimal interruption to the business. This change created savings of over $120k per annum to the business and also added more features to the end users.I have also created detail designs for a highly available Microsoft Exchange setup for another smaller customers and a RDS solution for another one of HuonIT’s customers. 3rd level support role which required me to look after a separate Novell network for the Business and Economics faculty away from the central Monash network. I was the sole person responsible for the reliability and uptime of these servers.Mentoring and helping 1st and 2nd level support staff with more complex issues. I was also sole person in charge of looking after backups of this network.

Member of a very successful desktop support team that were able to cut open incidents from an average of 80 incidents open to at the end of my time of about 15 incidents.

Started my work as a sole support technician that required me to support many customer Novell networks. I also was looking after all pc hardware repairs and software issues from customers.For a few years I managed extra support staff to handle the extra workload that had built up over time from us creating reliable solutions for our customers.I my time at Invotek I would of built in excess of 1000 machines from components.
