• Working within the London Climate Change – Physical Risk team at a global consultancy firm, delivering work for clients on the risks of climate hazards to their assets.• Assisted in the data-scraping and processing of the IPCC’s CMIP6 climate projection model data to produce climate indices for a market-leading tool, ERM’s Climate Impact Platform, that quantifies the baseline and projected physical climate risk relevant to client assets. This used large amounts of data wrangling in R-studio, GIS and Python.• Prepared client deliverables and presented in client meetings and workshops.• Updated and streamlined ERM data processors and code in R-studio, excel and GIS as well as produce user-friendly interfaces to summarise key data.• Conducted project-development research on climate hazards, climate model data and corporate reporting (TCFD, CDP).

• I am assisting in the development of IUCN’s Red List for Coral Reefs on an ecosystem and species level.• This includes carrying out a literature review on the threats to coral reefs and their associated fish populations and compiling findings into a report and presentation.

• I worked on the Fishways project, which aims to improve habitat connectivity of small bodied and juvenile native Australian fish species.• I developed my ability to collect data with great accuracy over many repetitions in a laboratory environment.• I developed my fish handling (including PIT tagging and UV fluorescent ID tattooing) and assessment skills (including endurance and exhaustion assessments over varied substrates and water speeds).

• Operation Wallacea is an international conservation charity that collects data on the biodiversity and value of unprotected areas, to provide evidence that they should be protected to governments and private investors. • I carried out (and led) ecological transect surveys on mammals, herptiles (reptiles & amphibians), birds and trees in the dry forest, and coral reef biodiversity surveys.• I developed my field skills including species identification and recording as well as my logistical and problem-solving skills.

• I developed my animal handling and understanding of animal husbandry. I assisted in shows and improved my customer service skills. • I worked to educate and communicate with the public, and particularly enjoyed introducing young people to species they would not normally be able to interact with, and helping them to understand what can be done to conserve endangered species. I worked to engage the public in cutting edge conservation research.

• Work varying from mechanical work on Ranch vehicles to cattle processing.• Ability to work long hours in extremely harsh conditions and showing resilience, all the while getting jobs done in a timely and efficient manner.• Teamwork and communication were vital to complete tasks in harsh conditions.
