About David Winn

I'm navigating the high tech world with an engineer's brain and a business person's intuition. I'm an expert in Program Management (Business and IT), Manufacturing operations, New Product Introduction, and Product Data/Lifecycle Management. My experiences have made me well versed in SDLC process, Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC and other continuous improvement type programs. I'm a big believer in Agile development methodology, and have acquired Scrum master skills while scaling Agile teams. I am in my zone when a company needs to scale and optimize business processes to meet customer expectations and ramp revenue.Working at Infinera pre-IPO allowed me to test my strategies for managing systems and people as we ramped up from a 200 person company to over 3000. It was a tremendous ride and I got to work alongside some brilliant engineers. I'm seeking opportunities to find the next company that needs a hard working, driven, well rounded person like me to help them achieve the next set of growth milestones. Do you want to scale your Program Management operations? Do you want your PMs to have excellent coaching? Do you want just enough process to succeed but not over-analysis? Then I'm your guy! I'm also currently the Varsity Girls Volleyball Head Coach at Mountain View High School and club coach at Mountain View Volleyball Club. I firmly believe that coaching helps me be a better manager at work and vice versa. And coaching girls volleyball helps feed my soul as I strive to help young women become our future leaders in this country.Highlights of my volleyball coaching career include:* Back to Back California D1 Girls Volleyball State Champion with Palo Alto High School* Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach National Finalist* 2010 Central Coast Section Honor Coach of the Year* 2 Norcal Titles* 2 CCS Titles and 7 CCS Finals appearances* 7 League championships in a row with Palo Alto from 2006-2013* Over 500 career wins
