This opportunity was a contract role to assist the Genesis Business in developing and implementing both a strategic plan and cultural change. Initially I was tasked to develop a business improvement plan whilst coaching and mentoring a senior team member. Following the approval of the plan by the board I was asked to assist in a leadership change and hence became CEO (interim). During this period I completed a restructure and introduced and appointed essential skills and roles into the organisation in order to enable the plan. Part of the role was to successfully induct and assist in the recruitment and transition of the new CEO which was completed in a seamless manner.
