As the Global Awards Director at CRS, I lead the strategic implementation and expansion of the organization's centrally managed global awards portfolio. In this pivotal role, I oversee complex thought leadership projects spanning multiple countries and CRS geographic regions. Throughout Fiscal Year 2024, I will oversee approximately 8-10 diverse awards funded by various donors, encompassing both concluded and newly initiated projects.My responsibilities include managing grants and contracts from the US Government, as well as securing funding from private foundations and other institutional donors. This award portfolio is executed by cross-functional teams situated across the world, including at headquarters. In my capacity as Global Awards Director, I provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure uniform award compliance, program quality, and a cohesive, one-agency response to global awards management. My focus extends beyond the immediate project horizon, emphasizing strategic leveraging for future initiatives. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the global awards portfolio, contributing to CRS's mission of creating positive and sustainable impact worldwide.

Responsible for developing and implementing strategy, systems, and standards; leading teams to deliver agency commitments to institutional donors; and representing CRS and negotiating awards from priority donors.

Responsible for full business lifecycle of US Government institutional funding opportunities from capture planning to close out, including the development of proposals, oversight of proposal teams, and leadership of institutional donor engagement with priority funders.

Responsible to lead a global support unit to develop and maintain strong relationships and visibility with public donors, advance the discipline of award management within program portfolios, and limit reputational and financial risks.

Responsible for donor relationships with a variety of United States Government agencies while supporting a portfolio of $200 million USD in 2 different CRS regions (East and Southern Africa).

Responsible for creating and executing strategies for existing organizational supporters and new prospects, overseeing all stages of donor relationships including cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for over 200 major donors.

Responsible for managing and coordinating all CRS/Sierra Leone program-related activities, including developing strategic plans, implementing projects, maintaining sustainable relationships with governments, donors, and partners.

Responsible for management and capacity strengthening of the PSI/Guinea technical departments including research, communications, and marketing, while maintaining relations with government institutions and other stakeholders.

Responsible for ensuring full headquarters support of PSI’s affiliates in Madagascar, South Africa and Namibia by providing a high level of guidance and assistance in all technical, external relations and administrative areas.

Designed multifaceted social marketing and behavior change campaigns to promote energy efficiency; including radio spots, billboards, mascots, in person sensitization and print advertisements.

Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships, including local traditional and conventional leadership, toensure adoption of sustainable agro-forestry and water catchment technologies.
